Wedding photography and films in Orange County Something New & Blue specializes in wedding photography and cinematography for couples in Orange County. Its business information identifies a Santa Ana workspace on East Dyer Road and lists photo collections as well as wedding-film coverage. Couples should discuss their event date, venue, timeline and priorities to establish whether a particular package matches the celebration. Engagement and wedding images Every couple has different preferences for posed portraits, candid interactions and photographs of ceremony details. A planning conversation can identify important family groupings, meaningful traditions and the locations most important to photograph. Ask the studio to show complete wedding galleries in addition to highlights, since a selection of a few favorite images may not represent an entire event. Clarify the number of photographers and the coverage hours included in the quote. Wedding cinematography A wedding film can involve different kinds of coverage from still photography. Couples should ask about recording audio for vows or speeches, the length of the final film and whether a short highlight edit is offered. The company's cinematography offering should be evaluated through examples comparable to the event, with attention to sound and how the story is assembled. Confirm whether ceremony and reception coverage are part of the selected package. Building a realistic timeline Portrait locations, travel between venues and available daylight can affect both photo and film schedules. Share the ceremony time, planned formal photographs and any restrictions on access to the venue. Ask how the team handles transitions and whether a coordinator or wedding planner should help arrange family portraits. Clear scheduling reduces the risk of missing moments because another event activity starts earlier than expected. Image selection and delivery A written agreement should explain delivery format, editing, turnaround and whether albums or prints are included. Couples can ask whether all delivered digital files are high resolution and what usage rights apply to personal sharing or printing. For films, discuss audio, revisions and access to final copies. Do not infer that raw footage or unedited photographs are included unless the contract says so. Comparing proposals When choosing a provider, compare hours, team size, deliverables, backup practices and examples of completed work. Ask about travel expenses and how illness or an unexpected problem would be handled. Venue lighting and audio restrictions should be discussed before booking, particularly for indoor ceremonies and evening receptions. Santa Ana contact The East Dyer Road workspace is a business contact, not evidence that all sessions take place there. Confirm appointment requirements, service area and current wedding-date availability through the official website. FAQs Does Something New & Blue provide wedding photos?
