About AV CAREERS

AV CAREERS is an audiovisual career development and training resource based in Garden Grove, California. It serves students, people entering the industry, freelance technicians and experienced AV professionals throughout Orange County and Southern California. The audiovisual industry covers far more than setting up speakers and screens. It includes corporate conferences, live events, concerts, video production, recording, lighting systems and LED video walls. AV CAREERS helps people explore these specialties, understand the work involved and identify skills that can be useful on real productions. Audio and live sound are important parts of professional AV. Technicians may work with microphones, mixing consoles, wireless systems, speakers, signal routing and show communication. Learning how these systems work together helps explain the differences between an audio technician, an audio engineer and a recording professional. AV CAREERS includes audio engineering, live sound and recording technology among its areas of interest. Video production offers another path. Depending on the event, a video technician may handle cameras, projectors, playback systems, switchers, video signals or LED displays. Understanding common resolutions, connections and signal flow is valuable when preparing for a conference, presentation or live show. AV CAREERS also covers video systems and LED wall technology as career-development subjects. Lighting is equally important to live events. Lighting technicians work with fixtures, control equipment, cues and stage crews. The work can range from basic equipment setup to more specialized console programming and show operation. AV CAREERS helps visitors distinguish lighting roles from other technical and production positions. People exploring a career in AV can benefit from practical experience, careful equipment handling, safety awareness, clear communication and teamwork. The company focuses on connecting technical education with an understanding of real-world production work. Visitors can explore the different specialties, consider which type of work interests them and seek information about available resources and industry opportunities. Located at 12627 Hoover Street in Garden Grove, AV CAREERS focuses on Orange County and the wider Southern California region. Students, educators, freelancers and production professionals can use the official AV CAREERS website to find current information and contact details.
