Privacy Policy

OCDIR collects business information and private contact details through listing, ownership claim, and contact forms. Submitter emails, claim messages, and contact messages are available only to authorized administrators.

Published profiles contain business names, descriptions, official websites, and relevant public business information. Submitter contact emails are not published. Business details may also come from the public company sources identified on each profile.

OCDIR is hosted through ChatGPT Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Directory records and submissions are stored in a persistent database; authorized images use persistent object storage. Form security uses a first-party cookie and short-lived hashed request identifiers for abuse prevention. Administrator sign-in is handled by ChatGPT. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. OCDIR does not add advertising trackers.

Stripe processes optional listing-refresh subscriptions. New advertisers can create a listing and purchase the plan without business verification; access to existing listing billing controls remains protected. OCDIR stores Stripe customer, subscription, and paid invoice identifiers to process listing refreshes. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by OCDIR.

Use the Contact or Corrections page to request access, correction, or removal of your submitted information. Published business information is retained while the listing is maintained. Private messages and ownership evidence are retained as needed to resolve requests and maintain directory records. Technical backups may retain previous records for a limited period under the hosting provider’s policies.
