An eye-catching concept is only one part of a project that may also require property approval and professional installation. Building signs and channel letters Channel-letter signs are often selected when a business wants dimensional branding on a storefront or building facade. Design choices can include size, materials, lighting approach, attachment details and legibility from the street. Customers should supply approved brand artwork, photographs and approximate building dimensions. Before ordering, ask how the company develops shop drawings and who verifies the final mounting surface and local sign code restrictions. Monument and site identification Monument signs can identify a property, tenant group or development near its street entrance. Planning may involve visible sightlines, landscaping, vehicle access and limits on sign height or area. Property managers should confirm whether an existing structure can be reused or whether site work will be required. Ask for clarity on foundations, electrical connections, tenant-panel updates and the approvals needed from owners or government agencies. LED and illuminated displays OC Sign Company lists LED displays among its offerings. Customers should distinguish traditional illuminated signage from changeable electronic messaging when describing a project. Digital displays may require planning for content management, brightness, viewing distance and permitted operating conditions. Specifications vary considerably, so confirm the manufacturer's product information, access for maintenance and who will provide electrical service. City rules may affect whether a proposed display can be installed at a given property. From design to permitting and installation A sign project often starts with site photographs, dimensions and logo files. The company's described workflow includes permit-related steps, fabrication and installation. Customers should ask which permit submissions the supplier handles and which approvals remain the property owner's responsibility. Installation schedules can depend on material lead times and municipal review. A quote should define the finished dimensions, materials, lighting, mounting, artwork revisions and any exclusions. Sign maintenance and future changes Exterior signs may need cleaning, service or replacement components over time. A business changing tenants or refreshing a brand can ask whether existing structures can be modified. The company advertises maintenance, but specific repair eligibility and warranties should be confirmed for each sign. Keep original drawings and electrical information where possible because they can be helpful when requesting service later. Irvine sign-company FAQs Does OC Sign Company make channel letters?
