About Laguna Playhouse

Laguna Playhouse is a nonprofit professional theatre at 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach, California. Founded in 1920, it presents a year-round program of live plays, musicals and special performances. Its announced 2026–27 season gives Orange County audiences opportunities to see staged productions close to home. The theatre's mission also includes arts education and community engagement. Live theatre and ticketing: Visitors can browse current productions, performance dates and ticket options on the Playhouse's official website. The organization also publishes audience information, including accessibility guidance; patrons with specific seating or access needs should contact the box office before booking. Education for children, schools and adults: Laguna Playhouse offers youth theatre opportunities, introductory classes, workshops, camps, school programs and adult learning. Its Theatre Reach program invites Orange County school groups to professionally staged performances and helps subsidize tickets and transportation for participating schools, particularly Title I and other under-resourced campuses. Laguna Limelight League brings musical-theatre rehearsal and performance opportunities directly to elementary and middle schools. Teachers and families should consult the current program pages for eligibility, dates and enrollment details. Local context: The Playhouse's Laguna Beach venue serves the region as both a performance space and an arts-learning resource. Programming and availability vary by season, so visitors should use the current calendar rather than assume a particular show or class is always offered. FAQ — Where is Laguna Playhouse?
